We had two close games yesterday in our first Sunday of the playoffs.
Over at East Jessamine a tight game was played by the top-seeded Desperados and the defending Champions of the Bluegrass, the Stallions. Only one run separated the two. The Stallions will now face elimination on Wednesday while the Desperados and Bombers will battle for the first place in the Championship game.
In our first elimination game, the expansion Knights picked up their franchises' first victory on the season, defeating the second seeded Warriors in a close affair at Dunbar. We hope all of the Warriors' players come back next year; it's always fun sharing a field with you. The Knights and Stallions will look to stave off elimination on Wednesday, a rematch of the four-five game they played last week.
